Welcome to iQ Telecom

iQ Telecom are a UK based business that developed, built, and then launched its own VoIP platform in early 2011. As well as having data centre space in the London Docklands, Reading and across the Channel in France, we have partnered with some of the best hardware manufacturers and upstream providers in the industry. We designed and built our platform from the ground up to give customers a robust and complete solution so are able to offer features that are unique in the market place. If the feature or function doesn't exist we will look in to creating it.

We pride ourselves on a high level of system reliability and uptime as well as an honest approach to business and to our customers.

Switch Consultancy

We have the skill set to build and support bespoke SIP switching solutions as well as offer consultancy to those with existing infrastructure.

 SIP Trunks

iQ Telecom's SIP Trunks can be used on existing telecom equipment whilst eliminating costly line rental charges and high call costs. Customers can retain their existing telephone systems, handsets and features, so special staff training is not required when you switch from legacy telephone lines to our SIP Trunks.
Our trunks run using the  G711a codec so give ISDN grade call quality.

Mobile Softphone

We will soon be able to offer customers our new Android Softphone which can be used over either Wi-Fi or your standard mobile data connections using our "Mobile Bridge" technology. The iPhone version is under development and the beta release will become available next year.

Virtual PBX

Our Virtual PBX is a complete business phone system that is hosted over the internet to avoid the high equipment purchase and maintenance costs of traditional phone systems. It helps customers reduce line rental and call costs without losing features offered by ISDN and high-end traditional PBX systems.

Whether your business is a small operation with a requirement for 1 or 2 handsets, or a company with 100+ employees and multiple sites, iQ Telecom's Virtual PBX can be tailored to meet your needs.


This is a Tier 1 offering which means we own and run the solution on our own equipment. We are not re-branding,  reselling, or marking-up another company's solution.

Fax to Email

iQ Telecom's FAX to Email service allows customers to receive regular FAX transmissions as PDF email attachments. No more bulky FAX machine, wasted paper,  expensive toner or a dedicated FAX line. Your faxes are emailed to you within seconds ready to be read, printed, forwarded, or deleted.

We can even port your existing FAX number to use our service.

Geographical Numbers

We can offer voice and FAX customers telephone numbers from the majority of UK cities. These numbers can give your business the appearance of (eg) being in London when you are based in Surrey, or the appearance of having offices in London, Birmingham, and Manchester when your team are all based in the same office.
We are also able to port your existing telephone number(s) to our platform and offer memorable numbers to give any new business the edge.
